Mailplane 1.60.1 (Mac OS X)
With the availability of IMAP on Gmail account, can't all this be done by just using the Gmail-account in Apple's Mail, or Thunderbird, or whatever IMAP client, for that matter? [alert admin]

ConceptDraw 7.4 (Mac OS X)
Indeed previous versions of all CD applications were decidedly unpretty, but v7 really has improved tremendously. Not only looks, but also uability. It takes some getting used to, but it is a truly powerful app! [alert admin]

Parallels Desktop 3.0 Build 5158.0 (Mac OS X)
This release finally seems to have solved the bugs that made Parallels 3 unusable and made me switch to VMware. Still cautious but optimistic. [alert admin]

ConceptDraw Project 3.1 (Mac OS X)
I started using this app at v2. Like all ConceptDraw, the underlying concept is well executed, but the cross platform nature of the app does show up at the UI. This version 3 is however a major leap forward in UI goodness (and I keep underestimating how important that is to me). One killer feature that kept me with CD Project, in v2, is that a Project file can be a small bundle of projects, each of which can be represented in a all encompassing project, but which keeps tracking subprojects clean. The big plus with CD is that activities from different projects in the bundle can be linked to each other in the encompassing project. Difficult to explain, but unique for this program as far as I know. Unfortunately the upgrade to v3 has temporarily disabled this feature, but CS Odessa ensured me it will return in an update. Responsive support, too, especially on their forum. [alert admin]

DVD2oneX 2.0.1 (Mac OS X)
First off: I am very unhappy about the money I had to pay for the upgrade, certainly when I think of what I plunked down for version 1. I am also unhappy about the fact that a polite email from me to the makers of this product regarding these prices is left unanswered. That is rude. That said, I did swallow my anger, and bought the upgrade. And used it several times now. And like it. Compared to the built-in options of Toast 7, this product allows for much better tailoring of what should and should not be used for precious DVD-space. I had some issues with the audio-selection, but that seems solved now. So technically, I am satisfied, commercially still somewhat unhappy. [alert admin]

Freeway Pro 4.0 (Mac OS X)
There are a couple of things reeway won't do, by design. One is handcoding: if you need that, go for the various flavours of Adobe, or BBEdit (small pieces of code can be placed on pages with precision, though). The other is proper import of existing HTML. It does work sortof, but I guess what gets imported is flawed by inherited errors. Rebuilding from scratch is surprisingly fast though. Once you have accepted the above, you will see that this product truely allows you to focus on what you want to achieve on the web, and not on how to do it. The new version is a robust upgrade, bundled with the great FAST packs that used to be a pay for option, it does CSS, XHTML in a proper way, but it does not get in your face. What you can achive on the pages itself (just look at the postprocessing of images!) really is great. Highly recommended! [alert admin]

...and it looks good. Not as beautiful as iTaskX, but more straightforward to use. [alert admin]

Just add your own Mesa or Mariner Calc, and you are all set. There is not enough sexiness in a spreadsheet! [alert admin]

Spell Catcher X 10.2 (Mac OS X)
...a pity my registration was not recognized automatically. That said, the software activates with a 3 week grace period in order to allow me working, while RainMaker sorts it all out. Not using the upgrade long enough to warrant a star rating. [alert admin]

The VT app doesn't recognize a two-step installation: a zipped dmg will give the no installer issue. Just download and install yourself and all is fine.

I almost agree with you, except for the fact that the IMAP implementation of PowerMail is mediocre. I used to be a big, big fan, but now I switched to Mail for that. Outspring is too expensive to try for now.

A Really fine Browser....With One Big Shortcoming.
I paid too, but I would like integration with Keychain, or even better: 1Password. I appreciate the reasoning by the developer, but why not making it a preference-option?

Because all kinds of support files are placed in the application support directory. Once directories are created, intaller packages are used.

And not only this then, they also make Webstractor, which I also use quite a lot. That app doesn't even show up on VT anymore, only on MacUpdate, with comments very similar like these. A pity! I used Workstrip since OS 9.
