Mousefinder 1.0 (Mac OS X)
I can't find a way on the developer's website to tell him this so I'll have to do it here. The hilite shows up in the wrong place if you have multiple monitors. Otherwise, its a great addition. (The hilite shows up on the wrong monitor.) Don't hate me, but I have two 30" flat screens and the cursor gets lost all the time. This would be be perfect if the screen calculation was correct. Also, documentation would be nice. [alert admin]

MenuCalendarClock for iCal 3.1.3 (Mac OS X)
I don't like having MenuCalendarClock in my already overcrowded dock and application switching (command-tab) menus. It adds one more app for me to tab through 100 times a day. I love everything else about the app! It has become an indispensable part of my desktop, but now it may be time to look at alternatives. I'm a registered user and have been using MenuCalendarClock for years. Now I'm looking for a way to downgrade. [alert admin]

AppCleaner 1.2 (Mac OS X)
I have been using AppCleaner for months. It does a much better job than any of its competitors - and seamlessly integrated too. I forget that it's there until I send something to the trash and see its familiar face pop up asking if I want to delete all of an app's associated files Whew! I would have had this stuff filling up space forever. AppCleaner knows what's related to an app and where its hidden - in Libraries, Application Support, etc. Indispensable little tool. [alert admin]

SiriusMac 2.1 (Mac OS X)
I have tried everything and still get no sound at all. (Yes, my volume is up!) Can not recommend this version. [alert admin]

iPhoneImitation 1.2D (Palm OS)
Does this require something else to work? Because it doesn't work as is. Doesn't uncompress as any kind of recognizable Palm fiile. [alert admin]

Application Enhancer 2.5b1 (Mac OS X)
Yes, APE patches system traps. It is a "hack". That's why its called a "Haxie". But if you want functionality that frankly, Apple left out, you need it. Some of my favorite behaviors went out the window years ago with the advent of OS X, but it is so outstanding that we lived without them. Others, like window-shading and hierarchical menus have been beautifully reintroduced by Unsanity (and others). The APE framework is the slick piece of software that makes it all work. I applaud Unsanity for not giving up. I have been using this beta for a month without incident. I have been using APE for years. Its solid and written by a good team. Keep up the good work! Menu Master 1.4.3b1 (Mac OS X)
Menu Master is a must have utility! I have missed it (and other Unsanity products) in Leopard. It's back - and at least for me using a U.S. English system - it works as advertised. Now if I can just remember all these new command keys! :-P [alert admin]

Silk 2.1.4b1 (Mac OS X)
I have yet to find anything wrong with Silk 2.1.4b1 (nor the previous beta). I use MS Office, iWork, etc. and see nice smooth font rendering - even from documents from Windows users that have poor taste in font choices. ;-) [alert admin]

I want to add to my own comment. I tried all the other menu calendars and this is still the best one for me. It has the sexiest look and just the right amount of features. My biggest complaint was the new addition of the dock and app menu icons. I found a way to get rid of them... Modify the file named 'Info.plist' inside the Application's package (i.e. MenuCalendarClock iCal.app/Contents/Info.plist). Open this file in your favorite text…

Not exactly "better", just built-in. Do you mean "better" because it gives you several unnecessary format choices? (6 digit hex is the only thing I ever need.) Or "better" because you have to remember unfamiliar multiple-finger command keys while trying not to move the mouse? (Really hard on a laptop trackpad!) This does exactly what it says it does. It does it intuitively and simply. DigitalColor Meter is ackward and difficult to use. "Better" is a relative term.

I don't see how iBiz could possibly have erased your Address Book. It doesn't have the capability. It only READS from the address book. Everything you enter into the Address Book, you enter IN the Address Book - not in iBiz. You have something else going on. Don't blame iBiz.
I have been using iBiz since it was the original iWork. (They changed the name after Apple came out with it's "iWork".) I have never lost…

While you're fixing your description, change "make the system manager's live as easy as possible" to "make the system manager's life as easy as possible".

Never a problem. I quit before upgrading. And beleive me I UPGRADE A LOT! Come on guys - do some of your own beta testing! Lately it seems every time I turn the computer on there's a new version of iClock. I like to be on the cutting edge, but I also have some of my own work to do.

macaholic, I too didn't find the "Dial through Speakers" menu - so I read the manual. It was right there on page 3. And the answer to the previous comment about international dialing followed... "The plug-in operation can be customized to some extent. Due to limitations in Apple’s plug-in interface, this is a bit awkward. Hold down the option (alt) key, while clicking a telephone number. The menu item text will have changed to “DRDial Settings”.…

saschxd, what are you smoking? Windowshade works in 10.3 and always has. I have NEVER been without it since it came out. (In fact I have never been without it since OS9, but that was another developer.) I stay cutting-edge updated on all my software. All 5 of my machines have Windowshade among a dozen other haxies and system patches. I write code for a living and can't afford to have an unstable environment and have no…
