ScribBall 1.0 (Mac OS X)
I downloaded this game and played it for 5 min 36 secs before I bombed out...Bought a license right after that! I was hooked immediately. Easy enough for an old fart like me to play and actually have fun. The physics part of the game makes it different from other "group of 4" games...very unique. Only complaint is the sound effect for the "whoosh" of air blowing...kinda annoying. [alert admin]

Backup Simplicity 3.0.2 (Mac OS X)
I have used version 2.x for about a year and recently 3.02. BSIMP has stopped working on my system. The background process simply quits after about 2 hours into the backup. I have had to return to good ole Carbon Copy Cloner. I cannot believe it is this difficult to make a reliable and fail-safe backup solution... [alert admin]

X-Plane 8.2 (Mac OS X)
This Updater thing has been downloading for over 7 hours now at between 3 - 5 kbps. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. They are gonna have to get some bandwidth somewhere or else start mailing out new DVD's when they offer an update! [alert admin]

SteerMouse 2.0 (Mac OS X)
I am SOOO happy that I can assign the "Back" button to my Mighty Mouse for Safari. This is such a time saver for me. I also LOVE the added pointer acceleration and scrolling acceleration this app provides. Also, works perfectly with Maya 6.01 Unlimited, which requires a three button mouse. I just wish there was something written in English about how to pay the $20 shareware fee which I think this app is definitely worth. [alert admin]
