TimeLog 3.0.5 (Mac OS X)

Great product running on hard times...

I've been using TimeLog to keep track of my hours for more than a year now, but having just purchased a MacBook Pro I'm running into some problems with it. The program restarts iCal every time I use it, which isn't a huge problem - not data seems to be lost - but is nevertheless inconvenient. I posted the problem on the developer's forum page under troubleshooting a week ago, but still haven't heard anything (there were two other posts at the very top of the troubleshooting page, both reporting the same problem, for which there was also no response). So all in all this has been a great program, but I'm disappointed by the slow response time and the glitch that seems to have cropped up with 10.4.6. [alert admin]

TimeLog 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)

Great Program with a few bugs

I really like the idea of this product, and I definitely recommend it. However, there are still some bugs that need to be worked out. The most significant bug I found was that you can't hide the program and still use the menu bar clock starter. Instead, you have to minimize the window, leaving it in the docket (it doesn't seem to work when I close the window either). I'm told the next version of the program will correct this, and the programmer has been really helpful so I believe him, but I haven't gotten a chance to test it myself. I'd also like to see a section in the preferences menu where you could change what the menu bar icon said. On a 12 inch iBook, I don't have much room up there and would like to have it just say the time, not the project. But overall, I definitely recommend this product. [alert admin]
