Apple iTunes 9.0.1 (Mac OS X)

On the beach again

Would like to try this upbloatdate. However, when I link to the download from versiontracker or directly from the Apple UK site I get the spinning beachball of death. Come on Apple at least make it possible to continue to use Safari whilst waiting for a download gap on your server. What a load of old crap Apple is really turning into. I suppose Bill's too preoccupied with his tablets to notice his dissatisfied customers. If the downloads weren't always so large then server holdups might not be so bad. IS this poor programming or too little time to spend on too many products? [alert admin]

Apple iTunes 9.0 (Mac OS X)

Free beach ball

I got a free beach ball with this version. It's a good thing I'm on holiday and have plenty of time to wait, but I get dizzy each time I do any action in this new version of bloatware. Where and why did it go so wrong Apple? Maybe my iMac's two cores at 2.8 Ghz with 4 Gb RAM are not enough now. Ah well, I'm off to play the radio on my nano. [alert admin]

Problem with Office Update

THis program *censored*ed up the updating of Microsoft Office 2008 and I had to reinstall the program and all the updates over again. What a pain. Has this been sorted out in this version? [alert admin]

Microsoft Office 2008 12.1.7 (Mac OS X)

Crash, Crash, Crash

This latest update has been a disaster for me. Entourage keeps crashing. I have rebuilt the database after each crash to no avail. Very disappointing, but then again MS Office has always been a disappointment to me, being very sluggish (using a 2.8GHz 4Gb iMac Intel 2 core Duo) and clunky/ [alert admin]

SpeedBit Video Accelerator 1.0 (Mac OS X)

No problems thus far

Everything seems fine, though I haven't seen any vast improvements. It's a bit like Speed Download - sounds brilliant but in practice unless you and the remote site are 100 MB/sec then not much happens. But one can imagine ... whilst going to the kitchen to make a cup of tea ... that things have gotten quicker. [alert admin]

iFlicks 1.0.3 (Mac OS X)

Doomsday?

iTunes as the repository for one's whole life ... This Apple could turn out to be the one that Adam and Eve ate, or that Pandora's Box let loose. Turn it into a bloated ballon and watch out for pins. There will be tears? [alert admin]

What a shambles! And for the first time ever (since its introduction) iTunes (now version 9) has just crashed on me. Is it April 1st?

Entourage still crashes in the new version 12.2...

In the previous version I regularly had Entourage crash, especially when deleting messages. It was also really slow to load, and getting slower by the week almost. I hope the latest update sorts these problems. I will post my findings after trying it for a while.

My friend's SE phone can't see smilies either, just a question mark! I don't remember this being pointed out in the description. If it is there fine, if not I want my money back!

This is true, it says 5.1 (the version I have) is currently the newest version, whereas here the offering is 5.1.1.

Deal Breaker - No, Shareware

If you have tried this program and you like it, then buy it! It is not Freeware. Then the issue you complain about will not happen. The program is great; it has a good interface and has worked well for me for a very long time.

Problem with persistent pdf toolbar now sorted

Many thanks for the advice deejemon. The same problem occurred in version 11.2.4 but your recommendations to remove the start-up files worked.
