FullShot 8.5 (Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000)
Found this difficult to use, never did accomplish what I wanted
Wanted to do full browser window captures (like not just active window or visible on screen...entire page on long, scrolly site). Had to reference user's guide multiple times. They reference two different ways to capture scrolling screens. Neither worked and the app just ended up crashing. Capture, long wait, and then just a standard active screen capture. Just found this very hard to use. [alert admin]

SnagIt 7.2.3 (Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000)
Marvelous at long, scrolly websites ![]()

Tried half a dozen screen capture apps today trying to get full page captures (like entire page in browser...not just active window visible onscreen). After several hours of having other apps kill my wimpy little PC, I tried SnagIt and had all my full page captures in less than 10 minutes. Did not have to access the user's guide, say nice things about my processor, or even cross my fingers. The PNG files it produces are 200-400K (for a fairly scrolly page). Even setup a profile and hotkeys so I could do this again more quickly (still didn't have to reference the user's guide). [alert admin]

Good resource is also http://www.opensourcecms.com/. Mambo is now Joomla, btw. Started w/ Mambo, but so hard to find work that is still being done for Mambo...so much of it has gone over to the Joomla initiative.

For full scrolling screengrabs, try SnagIt. After trying many apps, it seems to be the only app that handles them painlessly or quickly.
