Overall I like the design of this program, and it seems smart and secure enough, but although I am able to save my changes, I can't close, quit, or select a good number of other menu items including About Sbook5 and a bunch of other things. I have to Force Quit every time. Annoying. [alert admin]

SlimBatteryMonitor 1.3 (Mac OS X)
Nice, but also seeing memory hogging issue
I like the fact that I can have this icon disappear from the menubar when the battery's fully charged, I like the colors, all very nice. But is it really necessary for this little doodad to use up 20.55mb of RAM and 94.32mb of virtual memory? I hope the author will be inspired to try to reduce memory usage. [alert admin]

This is just what I've been looking for: A quick, easy way to search the contents of my external drives and discs. Haven't noticed the problem with foreign characters messing up backups. So far it's been a great way to keep track of what otherwise had me searching for hours at a time. I created a folder in my home directory called "External Volume Images" and always save the images there. You need to make sure that each CD/DVD/volume has a unique name, and if it doesn't, be sure to rename it right after creating the image, and that's it. Searching these with finder are super-fast. I have no complaints, this is a great program!!! [alert admin]
