WinTel 2.1.2 (Mac OS X)
This is basically Bochs (http://bochs.sourceforge.net/), an open-source and free x86 emulator. Therefore WinTel is just a lousy GUI from someone who wants to make quick $$$ from people that do not know that this tool is actually free. On Intel Macs this does not even run natively (like VMWare). Just a warning. [alert admin]

REALbasic 4.0 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
who say "this sucks" because everyone has other needs. People who don't have time to learn a dozen programming languages and need to compile for os9 osx and win32 can take realbasic, it's not that expensive and works good as long you know how to make clean code. On the other hand, Objective C or C/C++ (on os9 or even win32) have the con that you have to know the systems very good and know how to use their services (window manager, etc). -- I have seen very good software written in realbasic and i've seen bull**it written in realbasic. But i've also seen very mutch bull**it written in c/c++ or even objective c. [alert admin]

Hello. I'm glad you took the time to write a short review of Xmud but there are a few little things that bother me about it. First off, why should an application be bad just because its written in REALbasic? There are a bunch of REALbasic applications which are stable and work very good. I'm sure you have one somewhere on your hard disk. Second, since you are aware of Xmud's alpha stage, you could easily take…
