Taggerwocky X 1.1 (Mac OS X)
is that you can't fix what isn't reported to you. The program was tested by OSX users that I know, just not a -huge- group. They reported no problems of the type mentioned here. So it wasn't just thrown out there on a whim, for either version. My other application Compositor (non-X) -is- well tested by many, yet bugs are still found later, and usually by me, not the users. That's software.Taggerwocky is a single purpose application that I hoped would help others with the same need...Personalizing their own MP3 files. Other options are of course there. Why do you give the program 1 star? Does it not work at all? That is, if you have read the docs, and if you have an MP3 file without a tag (not a v2.0 type), does it not add the info to it that you append? It does work as far as I can tell from user input via email, particularly this version. But I can see how you might see no need for this is you have another option, particularly one as nice as iTunes, though comparing this to that is apples to orange PCs. As far as any developer deserving insults, then perhaps you should read the review guidelines: What NOT to Include:>>Profanity, obscenities, or spiteful remarks.<< Spiteful remarks have no business anywhere. The point is, as a developer or as a human being, I can't fix bugs that I don't know about, and that aren't reported, and prior to the mentions here about the finder listing issue, there was no indication that the app had a problem with OS-X. Points taken otherwise. Maybe its the one true clunker of all time here in Version Tracker. :) If the docs have been read, and the program still doesn't work for you, email me. I'll fix it, or withdraw it. Robert Covington, Artly There. [alert admin]

Taggerwocky 1.0 (Mac OS 9)
file, but can't duplicate any problems, even before. Not sure what the issue is. Quite sorry for any problems. Robert, Artly There [alert admin]

Taggerwocky X 1.0 (Mac OS X)
frustration, but to be insulting is not fair. This is the first version of this program, and the author does not have OS-X nor the hardware to test there. Anyone who can help me test this better, and the filetyping isn't the issue, please email me, and I will correct to the best of my ability. I wrote the program to add tags to my own original MP3's and thought others might benefit from it. Robert, Artly There [alert admin]

Compositor 2.0 (Mac OS 9)
for the kind comments. As regards viewing the image in reduced fashion, there is not an on-window zoom feature currently , as it was replaced with the Zoom/Magnify tool on the bottom right of the tool palette for this purpose. One can set the factor and then switch modes if one wants. If in frame or mat mode, the frame thickens up a bit for better visibility over v1.9.5 when zoomed out. I tried to add an on-window feature for zooming in/out just before release, but I could tell that I have some work to do with finessing the autoscroll first, so omitted it for now. The reason for the existence of actions replay originally is that you can apply filters to a smaller version, then replay them upon a larger version later. The results may or may not be identical, depending on the filters used, kernel size, and random mutations, etc., however. In the older v1.9.5, the left "face" icon at window bottom left will scale any larger image to the current screen size for easy workings and you can drag it out larger or smaller....Artly There [alert admin]

Compositor 1.9.5 (Mac OS 9)
faded using Fade Last found in the Image Menu. Just slide the preview image. More previews are on the way where possible, these will have to wait until after v2.0 GM is released most likely. ArtMatic is indeed in a different price range, and a completely different application type. But I plan to add a few more automatic goodies at some point. See Boid Lines under the Image Lab menu right now for some nice effects. Compositor is written by an individual, not a company. Robert Covington, Artly There [alert admin]

Awful, Compositor is not, other than perhaps for confusing you perhaps (a possibility that I am aware of). Compositing is not just about masking via alpha channels, it is about blending as well, and Compositor does a lot of blending, and thus the name given way back. A future version will have Alpha to Selection, and vice versa, though the whole filter engine would need to be re-written to support them across the board…

Greetings. You are correct about it flipping too fast for some...I am more a manual viewer. The OS X version coming up soon has a much better timing dialog where you can set from 1 second to 2 hours. Robert, Artly There Software.
