flash AV Player 2.1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
Very fine product! And LOL... the author does say it is a tipware and that the price is contributions (just look on the right)... but I agree that the documentation might seems to be a bit poor for any one who don't read it :D [alert admin]

file has been forgotten from the download. The player won't work without it. This file list the playlist titles along with their corresponding files. It should go like this: Titles.text file: id1 to idn=the name of each playlist& file1 to file'n' = the corresponding playlist_index& nbid = the number of playlists Sorry. (Don't put sorry in the titles.txt ;-) [alert admin]

MacASP 0.91 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
DO sound like you have done a thorough comparison and have really installed MacASP to do some testing. But then, why is PHP so slow compared to MacASP, specially when it comes to DB access??? Now, I'v tried MacASP in many ways (I think) and found out that MacASP had allways a solution to work around a dynamic page problem or about anything unusual your imagination might want you to do and -tempel- DB access is just fine (I'v tried it with ODBC, SQL server using dbGateway, and native data base as well). Beside that, who cares to have real compatibility with Microsoft ASP when you use a Mac Server (that's what MacASP is made for)... Personnaly, after what I've seen from MacASP and if I wanted to switch to a PC server that wouldn't stop me. [alert admin]

MacASP 0.86 (Mac OS 9)
none of you guys have even install MacAsp or you wouldn't say this is Not Real Asp. Ok, it even does more. In fact it is as powerfull as it is simple. Every mac server should go for it ;-) [alert admin]

Could you tell me what your problem was? Obviously, something wasn't made clear because it does work properly for every one else... Feel free to ask any question @ fodor@liane.net.

No titles.ext is needed any more (see the readme instructions), just the playlist.xml that can be created and dowloaded online at http://fodor.liane.net with the XM L playlist-generator. Works great with every users. Otherwise, support is provided at flash@fodor.liane.net.
