MacTuccio 1.6.5 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

why?  

Unless you are still stuck on using os 9, what is the purpose of this software? The apache webserver is documented to death on the internet, peer reviewed, very fast, very flexible, expands as you need it to, and you can get answers to just about any question you can come up with for it on various boards. This, while open source, is not a known quantity, and requires you to go thru the code to verify it's not a trojan horse of some flavor...Anything on my machines that is going to open a port to the internet for all the world to connect to, must be a stable, secure, verified application. Radar In Motion 1.3.1 (Mac OS X)

widget works nicely  

However why not use the noaa website instead of the weather channel? The weather channel's site is so far behind timewise as to be mostly useless. The noaa site lags about 3 to 6 minutes, the weather channel is at least 45 minutes to 1.5 hours behind. [alert admin]

Apple Security Update 2005-002 (Mac OS X)

Intalled it, hung on the restart and refused to continue. checked out what was up during the boot sequence and found that the disk was mounted read only. Remounted disk as read/write, exited to continue startup and it still hung withe the same error, cant create directory blah blah blah read only. This update hosed something...system was up 30 something days prior... [alert admin]
