iBeeZz 2.4.1 (Mac OS X)
I was going to get this but....
given the bad feedback and the dead forums page, I'm not going to waste money. Maybe the author will reappear. If so, then the program looks good. anybody having any luck registering yet? [alert admin]

Yasu 0.8 (Mac OS X)
This is a great and simple (to use) utility, but there is a PROBLEM with 0.8. When you choose to use all the options, afterwards every file that you click on brings up the message "This is the first time you are starting this application from a file..."
Worse, .dmg files lose their icons and don't open at all unless you do a getinfo and change all of them back to DiskImageMounter (which seems not to actually exist anywhere on the hard drive as an application).
I'm not sure if the author intended to remove all these associations for a reason or if it is a bug, but it can be upsetting to have your .dmg files fail to mount -- until you fix 'em. [alert admin]

Lying is always the best way to push religion, isn't it?
Why call this OS X software when it is clearly CLASSIC? Perhaps when you have to use subtrefuge to push your religion, you have already started down the slippery slope. Watch out, there ore only ten commandments to break before you've broken them all. [alert admin]

DEVONthink PE 1.9 (Mac OS X)
I've used DevonThink and DevonAgent for quite some time. The developers are very responsive through the forum and they have created the premier program in its category. The database performance has never slowed down or gotten corrupted, and the feature list continues to grow with every *free* upgrade. The bad news is that you are going to forget what you have stored in the database before too long. The good news is that, if anything can help you to retrieve it when you need it, this product is it. This is a relatively small company with some great, unique products. I'm looking forward to upgrading to Pro when it is released. [alert admin]

SafariSpeed 1.0.2 (Mac OS X)
Try going from one Yahoo mail to the next. With SafariSpeed activated, the time increases from 2 seconds to 3.5 seconds. Some pages with complex images show something interesting to look at while the others are loading, however. [alert admin]

Pepper Keeper 1.2.2 (Mac OS X)
I've been able to download this application, but the installer crashes three-quarters of the way through. this is with OS X 10.3.4 on an iMac that is very stable. Please fix this as I'd love to try it. [alert admin]

BackupBuddy 2.0.14 (Palm OS)
So disappointing it does not support OS X
<b> It may be true that OS X is not the most popular OS, but is is such a joy to use and does so much to further the art of computing that programmers should develop for it if only to help their own profession. <\b> There is also a disproportionate percentage of Mac users who use Palm OS devices compared to PPC's.
