Indigo 2.0.9 (Mac OS X)
If you are one of those who considers Indigo an overpriced inelegant behemouth, an option is Homerun; http://www.findleystudios.com/homerun/ It is 5 years old and no longer supported, but it still works, does the basics well, is more Mac-like and cheap. [alert admin]

SimpleForum Pro 4.4 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
All you need is a server supporting cgi. No php, no sql, no whatever. Support is excellent, installation was almost a doddle (the images folder needs to be outside the cgi area, this was not obvious). You are walked through setup, and it is so, so cheap. Wonderful. [alert admin]

RhinoTyper 1.1 (Mac OS X)
The only utility that painlessly let me change created and modified dates. Support excellent, works fine, very cheap! [alert admin]

Microspot Interiors 3.5 (Mac OS X)
It's true, their website is VERY unhelpful, no online support, no downloadable upgrades. According to the website, you have to pay for every upgrade, bug-fix or not. I bought this product at an Expo, but I don't think I'll bother upgrading it, or in fact using it anymore. [alert admin]

OmniWeb 5.0 beta 1 (Mac OS X)
Too Buggy: Read the notes. It's a Beta. Too Slow: Read the notes. It's a Beta. Password: Read the Developer info, but remember it's a Beta. Still, I think the Omni group may be making things a bit difficult for themselves here, perhaps a more select beta test, and a password on the disk image? Why? [alert admin]

Halo 1.0.3 (Mac OS X)
It sounds like a solid update, but I won't use it because of the CD issue. Too much of a pain. [alert admin]

AppleWorks X 6.2.9 (Mac OS X)
This will only update the North American English version. I'm very glad I have ADSL and didn't waste much time downloading this. [alert admin]
