we need to all send him in our results and configuration so that he can compile such data. I guess we cannot expect him to have all the machines at his disposal. I guess it would also be good to revert our machine to as close to stock specs as possible (eg. yank extra RAM etc.) so that others will be able to see how much difference the enhancements make. My iBook 500 192/10GB with 10.2.2 has a result of 41.84 and the TiBook 550 512/20GB has a result of 55.51. [alert admin]

Just what I need for working under the stars! Dark Red is a little too dark (just be warned, because it is hard to see on some LCDs). Would be even better if the Full Brightness had a keyboard equivalent and you could set your own key commands for the other settings. It would have my 5 stars then. :) [alert admin]

turn journaling on in client: Terminal: % sudo diskutil enableJournal / But note that it will hit your computer by up to 20% with this on. But if up time and file integrity is more important that processor speed, then this is worth it. [alert admin]

for the journalling filesystem (JFS), which may currently be enabled via Disk Utility on Mac OS X Server systems. Not available for OS X? Why? I cannot seem to find it. We want it for the non-server version too! [alert admin]
