I think anything could be an improvement over Tiger Mail's wretched appearance. These icons look significantly more Mac-like than Apple's, though I think they should be in color for better distinction. Combine this program with Cage Fighter to further de-uglify Mail 2. [alert admin]

Distance Algorithm Is Accurate
Keymileage measures for two radically different keyboard layouts, which are depicted in the program over top of their respective distances, with prominent bold-print labels. If you enter 'asd', the Dvorak distance is 1.5 inches, while the Qwerty distance is 0 inches. 'D' in Dvorak is located where 'H' is on Qwerty. Every keyboard I've ever seen has 3/4-inch-square keys, including PowerBooks, Pro Keyboards, and Wintels. Not having found any non-standard sizes, I haven't bothered putting in options for different dimensions. Please download this program and experiment yourself, and actually read the Read Me.
