SharePoints 3.5.4 (Mac OS X)
found this after posting on developer's site: 11/29/08: After more than a year of having Leopard out and seeing that Apple has built in the functionality of SharePoints into Leopard, there will not be a new version of SharePoints. A good article that talks about how to do most of what SharePoints could do in Leopard is available on Computerworld Australia's website. [alert admin]

SharePoints 3.5.4 (Mac OS X)
Sharepoints worked great for OS 10.4 as long as directions were followed exactly, but it keeps quitting with current Mac OS even when creating first sharepoint. This occurred on a PowerPC G5. Web site says that current version is compatible with OS10.4 but didn't mention current OS. [alert admin]

Snapz Pro X 2.0.2 (Mac OS X)
easy to use but messes with OS too much ![]()

I've been using Snapz Pro for some time and it's easy to use for screen grabs and the like. However, I dislike the fact that its installation seems to do some weird things to the OS. Other reviewers have noted that it messes with kernel extensions and the like. After installing Snapz Pro, I decided to only launch it when needed rather than have it as a startup item in my login file. Curiously, this seems to subtly screw up the loading of other OS components. e.g., com-shift-4 for screen grabs will now not work plus some items in the menu bar (on the top right corner) don't seem to always load at startup. If I launch Snapz Pro then all the icons on the top right corner of my menu bar reload. Considering what Snapz Pro does, this seems to be intrusive on the OS in general. [alert admin]

Using info above (which I should have read before posting) I was able to get it working. Not entirely obvious to do BTW

yes, I have the same problem. Did a clean install of Snow Leopard for other reasons and was very disappointed to find that it doesn't work in 10.6.1 I wonder if there is an alternative?

Thanks for posting the link. Like others, I wasted time wandering around their site trying to find the download. Finally went to Versiontracker and found your helpful post. I think the product is worth the money but agree that dealing with the company leaves a lot to be desired.
