Apple iWeb 2.0.2 (Mac OS X)
This update still does not allow me to republish my existing iWeb sites, nor pubish new ones - just continues to record error messages instead. I agree wholeheartdeky with the comments others have made about this still being a shoddy product. [alert admin]

eyeControl Widget 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Very handy way of avoiding having to go into EyeTV itself to do things like turn the volume off/on, if you have it sit on the Desktop via having selected it with the likes of Alchemy. This way it's always visible - very convenient. Couldn't figure out how to get at the specific preferences it apparently has, but doesn't really matter, as everything is reasonably intuitive as it comes. Many thanks to the developer! [alert admin]

FolderBrander 2.0 (Mac OS X)
Very good application, which I have now stayed with for a couple of years, after trying several others. Just a little unintuitive sometimes in the way it operates, but very powerful and only takes a short while to get the hang of. [alert admin]

Lake District Landscapes Screensaver 1.0 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
This screensaver contains some of the best photos of the English Lake District to be found anywhere, and therefore some of the best photos of this kind of scenery anywhere in the world. You will not regret trying it out and upgrading and registering with the developer's site for regular updates. Great stuff! Alan Waters Lancaster, UK [alert admin]

EyeTV Exporter 1.1 (Mac OS X)
Asks for Growlhelper.app at first stage. Not having it results in refusal to go further. [alert admin]

Adobe Reader 6.0 (Mac OS X)
This version, although superficially nicer to look at etc., has at keast two basic faults: 1. It deletes previous versions, so if you don't like the new one, you have to go and find the old one and reinstall, BUT THERE IS NO WARNING TO THIS EFFECT. 2, Worst of all, it is unable to read indexes from previous versions, nor are there any instructions about how to fix this (other than a vague reference to 'you must update these indexes' - BUT HOW??). This is not signalled upfront either. It's like all the effort has gone into surface appearance, while basic usability features such as these have been ignored. Poor craftsmanship in a product now in v. 6 that has always had several other flaws in this respect! [alert admin]
