Adobe Flash Player 9.0.28.0 (Mac OS X)
I'm still using 9.0.28.0 on my Intel machine because I know it actually works, and works okay. Every time a new release comes out, all I see is boo-naying about how it breaks this or is suddenly super-slow with that. Are there any recommendable versions between 9.0.28.0 and 9.0.115.0? Everything I read just keeps saying no... [alert admin]

Adobe Photoshop 7.0.1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
Be advised that if you're still on Photoshop 7, don't use Leopard. Photoshop quits on startup now. [alert admin]

FarmersMahJongg 0.9.1 (Mac OS X)
Love the game, but Leopard breaks it. Odd graphic effect now while playing - click on a tile to select it, and the rest of the board vanishes! [alert admin]

Infinity Resource Editor 2.1.3 (Mac OS X)
Host is down - anyone know of any mirrors?
In the meantime, I've found another editor that will work on the mac version of Baldur's Gate/Icewind Dale, called MacBGEditor. You can find it here:

Hanihani Operation Sanctuary 1.0 (Mac OS X)
It's somewhere between reading a book and watching an anime. Though on the rare occasion, you do get a chance to choose between several options. Feels like it has the length of a book - not short. High quality graphics and sound. The demo itself is fine, but should you buy the product I'm pretty sure it's for 18+ years of age only. [alert admin]

Marquee 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Finally, a movie widget! It works well, but is rather large. Is there a way to cut down on the space usage? Not just the sparkling gui, but the movie entries themselves - most movies take up far less space than is given. But there's a few with time slots than run off the edge as well, and the rest of those can't be viewed. What about a way within each movie slot to view extra time slots if available? And what about clicking on a movie name or theatre to go directly to its webpage in the default web browser (assuming the data presented is gathered from a webpage)? [alert admin]

Adium X 0.81 (Mac OS X)
Very unobtrusive, quite pretty. I just wish that it supported individual visible/invisible prefs, not just global ones - which is the main reason why I still stick to a different client for that service. Won't happen until it's implemented in the GAIM project Adium relies on, I know.... [alert admin]

The be-all end-all of dice apps ![]()

The power user's software dicebag. But it's quite simple too, if all you want to do is toss a few dice around. Select a hand (1-8), click on dice to add them to that hand, then click Roll 'Em! Command-K clears the selected hand of all dice (a glance at the Edit menu shows you this). Don't get it? Play around with the app for a minute or two and you will (or read the included comprehensive manual if you're so inclined). Don't want the clutter of extra features? They're all hidden out of the way in the menus anyhow, well-labeled and ready for use but invisible when unneeded. Excellent use of keyboard shortcuts, though I wouldn't be against having the ability to delete dice one-at-a-time from the selected hand in last-to-first order using the delete key. [alert admin]

Dungeon Siege 1.1.2 (Mac OS X)
Inconsistent crash when a faerie gives you mana. Worked fine the first time for me, but the second time the game went down. Game runs great otherwise. Quite playable at default settings on my 667MHz G4 TiBook with 768MB RAM and a 16MB graphics card, though at really graphics-intensive moments it skips a bit. [alert admin]

Viou 2.5 (Mac OS X)
Excellent app. But the Developer might find less of their bandwidth consumed (and more people interested) if they offer a version that does not include all the extra models, only the Standard OSX folder and user defined options. [alert admin]

Early downloaders - please read!
Thanks for the FYI. You'll probably want to update your site as well, since http://www.excaliburworld.com/emr/emr3/ still shows 3.0b7 for download.

Yes, per account, I know. But I'd like be able to tweak the status per contact. As in, some people may see me while invisible, but others won't.
