I've tried a couple of times now, with Safari, which gives the following error: Safari can’t open the page “” because it cannot redirect to locations starting with “(null):”. as well as Firefox, but there seems to be a problem with the download link... jb [alert admin]

Jam 6.0.3 (Mac OS X)
Fade Outs on Final Track of Disk is NEVER Saved
I was hoping that v6.0.3 would fix this annoying fault that has always bugged me with v6.0.2, but no... It is still a bug. Make a custom fade on the final track of a disk, save it, then reopen it... and sorry, you've got to make that fade out again if you want to burn it to disk... Any chance this can be fixed? iPhoto Library Manager 3.0.2 (Mac OS X)
just downloaded the new version [3.0.2], but when trying to start it up, it just does a single hop in the dock and then disappears -- it doesn't start. 3.0.1 starts right up fine... [alert admin]

PureMusic Audio Player 1.1 (Mac OS X)
Plays some flac files, but not all...?
After recently upgrading to OS X 10.3.8 (but NOT applying the newest client security patch), I've begun to notice that PureAudio has become more touchy about which flac files it plays. I don't know if this is a coincidence or not. Beforehand, it played them all -- although some didn't play properly, making a rhythmic thump thump sound, tho' they decoded alright. Now, it plays some flacs fine, and others seem to get loaded into the playlist alright, but they don't play and nothing happens when you hit the play button. Playing shns seems unaffected. Has anyone else noted this sort of behavior? My system is a clean recent fresh install... Or are there indeed some flacs that are easily played, and some that aren't, and it's just a coincidence that I've noticed it now? [alert admin]

xACT 1.4b23 (Mac OS X)
small note: when you do a 'get info' on the application, or look at 'about xact' in the menu, it reads as version '1.4 b22'... but when you start the appication up, the info on the application's toolkit panel itself reads '1.4 b23' no big deal, tho' i'm not sure if should really be 'b22' or b23'... a great application! thanks. Still hoping for a fix to make it work with OS X 10.3.7
I just discovered the existence of this little app, but was disappointed to see that it doesn't work with Panther. I rebooted from a Jaguar drive, and it wouldn't even startup from that, either. Anyone know of any other way out there to accomplish the Now Contact / Address Book sync? Tia, [alert admin]

Will NOT update v6.0, just like the previous 6.0.1 updater
Just another waste of time... which means I'm still at 6.0. [alert admin]

Azureus BitTorrent Client 2.0.8.4 (Mac OS X)
I'm another former BitTorrent user. I just learned of Azureus in the last few weeks (while trying to figure out how to 'super seed' -- which Azureus supports), and I'm sold. There's a bit of a learning curve, but that's a small price to pay for the huge increase in additional flexibility. The online documentation is pretty clear, and there are online discussion boards that are helpful, too. Even at this early state, it's a very good program... and with the obvious hard work and regular updates provided by the programmers, it looks like it will soon be a great program! [alert admin]

xACT 1.2 (Mac OS X)
re. Installation troubles [followup]
I turns out that trying to run the installer from the disk image does not work properly... Drag the contents to your hard drive -- perhaps into your Applications Folder specifically, I'm not sure -- and then running the installer works fine. Cool App. Get it. And the developer acted promptly and helpfully to my request for help with the installation... [alert admin]
