Apple iTunes 7.0 (Mac OS X)
After installing QT 7.1.3 and iTunes 7.0 and repairing permissions, I found I cannot bring forth the Equalizer in iTunes as the iTunes window fades but shows no Equalizer. My Music Library, which was sorted by album then artist with my downloaded music being called (Internet Download) for album name, is all mucked up after sorting by album name, the artists are no longer in order with the album. I cannot close the mini iTunes Store window and songs take 2 double clicks to start playing, and poorly at that. Well, a Find for iTunes and a complete trashing of 7.0 and re-install of 6.0.5 fixed all of that. That was a first for me... [alert admin]

Acquisition 132.3 (Mac OS X)
Did you not learn a lesson several revisions ago when you were lambasted for "hijacking" the web browser during the course of Acq running? Now you do it again on program quit? Look, thanks for making a simple to use piece of software that allows the masses to plunder and loot at will, but for peace's sake do you not care what kind of attention you receive either positive or negative? Seems you implement this nonsense just for the stirring up of the muck. No matter what, it is an excellent program and makes better and more efficient use of Java and resources than any other. Keep up the great work on it's function, but please work on it's form. Maybe as you age you will mellow. It comes with maturation in every form. [alert admin]

iCab X 3.0.3 (Mac OS X)
Loving the preference set in comparison to other browsers, but it constantly quits to a report upon my Customizing the Toolbar Avoiding that and giving it a run, it is nowhere nearly as fast as Safari, Camino and even Firefox Same stuff, different day. [alert admin]

Adobe Flash Player 9.0.20.0 (Mac OS X)
Download and install it at will for ANY platform... There are several plug-ins and apps worth following down the beta trail and Flash is indeed one of them. Speaking only for myself of course, but then again, my computers can sing, dance and make coffee... Must be Living right. [alert admin]

acqlite 0.2.8 (Mac OS X)
Connects quickly and retrieves matches with lightning speed. Granted it does not find as many hits on the same search as Acquisition (for WHATEVER reason), but at the end of the day, I download everything I want and need with Acqlite with nary a nag nor disappointment! [alert admin]

The new nag frequency and routine is a bit of a pill, but knowing the dev's personality or lack thereof, as I do, I can only surmise that was the intention. On 10.3.9 (I cannot speak for Tiger) the nag appears and the overwhelming majority of the time, a Purchase button is all that appears and you are forced to press it to open your browser to the "pledge page." I DID see a Later button appear with Purchase only once so far and that may have been initially.
To Acq's credit, I adore the new streamlined look and feel and overall performance has always been superior to any other P2P app I have tried. There must be enough paid market out there to justify the continued improvement... Bill Gates can be a banana head too and we still use HIS products, so, keep up the good work. [alert admin]

Aqua Firefox Set 1.5.0.1 (Mac OS X)
THIS is what Firefoxy should have been and I am SO glad I finally have a superior alternative to enhance the look and feel of Firefox! There are certain button sets that would bunch together with Firefoxy and look somewhat forced and out of place; and Aqua Firefox Set spaces them perfectly and beautifully. The extra chrome.css file is a gratefully accepted bonus! Thank you for your excellent work! [alert admin]

Celestia 1.4.1 (Mac OS X)
Hailing from Pasta Fagioli IV at the outer edge of our Milky Way galaxy, this program and it's abilities, makes me homesick, but on these primitive com-pew-ter devices I am able to virtually fly there at a moment's notice. Unfortunately it does not deliver the taste of homemade grenyak like Mother used to make. I used to vacation within the constellation Cygnus but this program does not show the depth or detail of Carnivale, but all in all a fantastic desktop virtual planetarium. I love it on all of my Macs I give it my highest rating, VIII horgles up! [alert admin]

IS the page you are on contain any flash heavy areas? Typically Camino will flicker it's eye beam for several seconds while a Flash app plays. I set my prefs to play the animations only once and it settles down.

I found the problem with the Equalizer not showing up in 7.0, was I had set my colors to Thousands and when I set it to Millions it appeared, then prommptly disappeared when I set it back. A plethora of improvements are in 7.0.1 I can now exhale.

Who knows, aren't you the same Blue Sky Mining that had a failed attempt at a Windows emulation program some years back in "competition" with Connectix If you are, then perhaps the coding will never be right. Seems you do a lot of projecting of your distaste for Mac software. Maybe a switch to Windows is in order?
