Unreal Tournament 2003 1.0b (Mac OS X)
I'm impressed by the games frame rate. Not that it's super smooth or anything ('cause it's not) but compared to the demos of Medal of Honor: Spearhead and Ghost Recon I've tried this is fully playable. I have a G4 "Quicksilver" 867 MHz, 512 MB RAM, GeForce 2 MX 32 MB VRAM. The game has nice graphics with lots of polygons, and you can see that it's a next generation graphics engine. However, the game play is not my style. IT IS SUPER CAOTIC!!! No idea what's going on, just hold down the fire button and hope to hit. A bit like the first Quake in multiplayer. Boring.... Well, maybe I should try the game on a real fast game performing computer (Win PC) or get a better graphics card myself before I decide what I think of it. Maybe I should also give it some more time... I want Battlefield: 1942!!!!! (Great game play IMHO) [alert admin]

reading "pushing this, that and doing this and that plus that" does the same thing. This is great!!! It just DOES it. IN ONE STEP. Easy to use for novices so they don't have to remember any keys. [alert admin]

Blizzard Starcraft Brood War 1.10 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
just have to adjust the abilities of the Protoss carriers. Many of those are too devastating in my opinion. All the air defense one has on the ground fires (by default) at the small ships that comes from the carrier. Useless!!! And the Zerg spore colony cant even reach the carrier but still be attacked by the small ships!!! Please adjust. Or anyone has suggestions of what to do against those bloody carriers? [alert admin]

Connectix Virtual PC 6.0.1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
a TOTAL FREEZE when selecting "save all and quit" in Virtual PC. It seems certain applications can bring OS X down, at least the ones used to run Windows.. ;-) Let's see if Microsoft takes care of this now when Virtual PC is in their hands. [alert admin]

extra step to hold down cmd-option plus it's easier for beginners to just tell them to click the Show Desktop icon. It doesn't "load-up" the system, it just uses a small ammount of memmory. (0,70 % on my 512 MB system). Try it out! [alert admin]
