ColorDesigner 1.10 (Mac OS X)
Props for Kasper , because he has made a great application. ColorDesigner is free. Other programs such ColorThoery sell for over 100 dollars. ColorThoery Dose may be a useful program, but also leaves some thing to be desired. Meanwhile, ColorDesigner seems to do a great job at selecting a more marcher set of colors. Right now ColorDesigner only supports Compliments, Split Compliments, Triads, and Angelus Color theme as default options. Witch is my favorite area of color theory. ColorDesigner can display these selections in variation using a theme based off of Lorim Impson’s squares. (Two boxes, with ones box inside the other box) Perfect for displaying split, and compliments. ColorDesigner allows the user to tweak, and change colors one by one using the hex values, OS X built in color picker, or as a group of colors using a pallet of options. Unfortunately many of ColorDesigner color displays are not click interactive. But do have elements that suggest he may implement such a usefull featchers at a later date. Witch would be great. For now there is some slider witch can feel some times sluggish but allow for good over all control. Letting user to over see many aspects of colors selecting, variation and display. The sliders for the most part are quite responsive. ColorDesigner ran stable. The only problem I had was Spread slider in conjunction with Deviance and angle would some times cause the Color Wheel and the Lorim Impson Squares to become out of sync with each other. Notes: The Color Wheel seems to be based on additive light, not reflected light as one might expect. Also as of this program only support one document to be open at the same time. If I had a feature request it probable would be the ability to save color sets as swatches for Painter or PhotoShop. Also a reflected light color weal would be useful. I think he deserve some free beer. BTW: vertion tracker see 1.1 and 1.10 as the same number. People may be dlining vertion 1.1 insted of 1.10 by accodent. Check the vertion pull down!! [alert admin]

The Manor 0.11.3 (Mac OS 9)
uneek. It isn't irc, it isn't 3D. Any one who liked palace will like The Manor. _____ **Pros** 123x123 user avitars, Modern Pallet Rage, Dinaic Window Size (based on back ground room image) ****cons**** ---- Dose not run well under clasic in os x. ----- Pallet get in the way, they do not act like part of the aplication. You could be in one app, and The Manors pallet will be in the way. Ontop of the open application. ----- Dial log boxes display them selfs under pallets. For a biggner user who dosen't know they can use esc key to get out of a dialo box they can't see, or move pallet to see. This is unxcetpable. ------ trasparent gifs are not suported. -- Hang on Auto update alot of the time. ------ Erors on connect some times. ---- they want a yearly servuse fee ***** This would be 4 or 5 stars, every thing works great! But I can't rate some thing high that locks up most of the time at start up. I hope they continuse to make this program, it is amazing. [alert admin]

WhiteCap 4.2.1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
always bin one of my favorat visuals. It's about time some body ported. This thing runs smooth on a rage 128 pro, and on a gf4 ti the thing scream even at the high resolutions. Andy your the man, great job. For any one who's having trouble running white cap in full screen. Change white caps screen resolution. To do this run the visual in window mode, and use the "m" key to chose a new resolution. I recommend 600 X 480 or 800 x 600. You should be able to use any Resolution that also show up in the System Preferences: Displays. Now try full screen mod, if it dose not work. Un-check the full screen option, try again. You may have to do this a few time to find a resolution that'll work for you. [alert admin]
