OmniWeb 5.5 (Mac OS X)
I've been using OMNIWEB for three years and this is the best release thus far! A sophisticated and, the only truly professional browser for the Mac Community! Stable, secure, fast and complete: you don't need anything else for surfing the Web on your Mac! [alert admin]

Nicely combines the features similar to Opera's Wand with Keychain, in a tight security environment for the Mac's mainline browsers. The new editor interface and browser install/uninstall feature, through the Editor's Pref. Panel, are real pluses. NB. VT's page header for this app. should read: 1.5.3237; NOT 1.4.3237! Opera 9.0b2 (Mac OS X)
Amazingly fast and rock-solid stable. Opera has come a long way in addressing the needs of the Mac community and this release of their browser proves it. Renders very well! Nice work Opera! [alert admin]

Opera 9.0b (Mac OS X)
Surprisingly good and complete for a beta release. After start-up, Opera 9 is "blazingly" fast! Nice work, Mac-Opera Team. [alert admin]

Shiira 1.2.1 (Mac OS X)
Well, each version of this browser is better than its previous incarnation! Now, it includes AutoFill for passwords and Logon's. Truly, Shiira is becoming a mature (serious) contender in the Mac/Browser arena. I am especially pleased that the author(s) have retained support for OSX 10.3.9. Domo Arigato! [alert admin]

Mr. Tides X 2.5.4.2 (Mac OS X)
A top-notch tides tracker. We live near the Jersey Shore and use this app. to accurately track tides at multiple locations. The author is very responsive to suggestions and provides quick-turnaround on bug fixes. An excellent piece of work. [alert admin]

Xfolders 1.0 (Mac OS X)
This is one powerful file manager. Well thought out and designed. Some quirks, but it appears to be evolving into a very comprehensive application that will give Path Finder, Macintosh Explorer, et al, a real run for the money. It's FREE and works well with OSX 10.3.9! Thanks! [alert admin]

Hi- Try downloading it with Safari. I tried FFX and got ASCII gibberish. However, Safari downloaded it with no problem.

To avoid the "Windoz(e)" appearance, use "Azur 1.3" as your skin and make sure you uncheck "Large Images" in the "Customize Toolbars" Menu and drag the "Address Bar" to the "Main Bar". Then choose "Indigo" from Opera's "Color Scheme" Menu. You'll be about as Mac-looking as a Mac with OSX can get!
