Ircle X 3.1b15 (Mac OS X)
its issues, yea..but the only other option I'd be interested in on here is X-chat; & it's got issues, too. Ircle offers lots of options other clients lack, & I'd not overlook the importance of the fact that it's old & grown a lot over the years (even if not in the last few). In general, the only issue(s) I've got with it incl. the following: incompatibility with older items written for OS 9, & lack of intelligent life forms in #ircle.. ;/ [alert admin]

OmniGraffle 2.0.8 (Mac OS X)
I go on osX, 9 times out of 10. I've only got one issue with it, which I've installed 10.2 in order to overcome. I'd be interested in any new info on this issue, how long it oughtta be 'til it's no longer one, etc. etc.: http://www.omnigroup.com/applications/omnigraffle/support/content.html#papersize [alert admin]

Opus Viewer 1.0 (Mac OS 9)
this. I love the interface (once it's installed, etc.). I got Grieg's Nocturne, & other than the non-intuitive opening of the file for the first time issue, it looks very good. I'm glad I got a little extra time to look into this... [alert admin]

Opus 2.6 (Mac OS 9)
it outputting on my laptop via Quicktime only (no ext. keyboard). One feature I'd like (if I'm going to obtain the full-version): if I'm laying down a note, is there an option to listen to it (i.e., option key, for instance)? Other than this (if it's not an option) & the OMS issue, I like the overall interface, etc. [alert admin]

Opus Viewer 1.0 (Mac OS 9)
the viewer to work. One of the least intuitive installations I've gone through (other than Oracle8i & Logic) in a long time. OMS itself isn't the issue, I guess: I've got to open OMS, get it to look for Quicktime & opt-click in to get to the Quicktime option in the Opus viewer itself for the individual instruments (one-at-a-time); & that's a little bit irritating, but I guess it's okay. I like the interface otherwise. It ought to be interesting once I get that other keyboard... [alert admin]

Opus Viewer 1.0 (Mac OS 9)
I'm giving it a 1 out of irritation. I've got the free Opus Viewer installed, Opus Demo & Opcode OMS 2.3.8 (is it?). I've got no external keyboard (I'm on a G3 laptop in 9.1 & the X3 I've got is over on an Intel-box for now in Logic). I've followed the instructions for installing OMS to output via Quicktime. I've followed the instructions online for the Opus Viewer at http://www.allegroassai.com/ov_instruments.asp & once again (like in Opus itself) I get no output. On installing it I opened Opus over it & got an error type 10. I guess that's not an option...okay; but, this is ludicrous. I'm not an idiot. I'd like the option to get OMS to output in Quicktime (& I get the impression I've got that: I get the icon with the notes, etc.). I'm giving up for now; but I'd be interested in this if only it'd work... [alert admin]

Opus 2.6 (Mac OS 9)
get this. Only thing is getting it to interact with OMS, etc. in order to output not via an external keyboard is like impossible. I love the interface otherwise; but oh well... [alert admin]

out there, only it's got layout or output file format options. It's very limiting. I guess I'll leave it installed on my laptop; & I'll improve on the feedback if I open it in the near future... [alert admin]
