DVD2oneX 2.3.1 (Mac OS X)
Failed on the 1st disk that I tried to rip. The only thing that used to work, was MacTheRipper. And it was free. Nothing comes close. The search for something that works... continues... [alert admin]

Synk Pro 6.2 (Mac OS X)
I've been evaluating he Pro and Standard versions with a view to purchasing one of them... The Pro version crashes *every* time I use it. And although it is not unuseable, it is really unstable. On numerous occaisions I've had to kill the process to close it down, as it just locks up. I can't see a huge difference between the Pro and Standard versions, although the Standard version is a lot more stable... and appears to have all the functionality that I need. The standard version has only crashed a few times. And does appear to be be a better option. The functionality and options provided in the app are excellent, and do appear to work well... although the option to 'remove files from target that are not in the source' does not appear to work all the time. The Pro version... thumbs down (big time) unless they can work out the instabilities. The Standard version... thumbs up!! [alert admin]

teleport pr4 (Mac OS X)
A brilliant piece of freeware... that fits my situation and use-case *perfectly*. If you can see the monitor of the mas you are controlling, you cannot go past this software. Easy to install, very prfessionally implemented and presented. 10 out of 10. I'm using it to control a Mac Mini that is connected to my 42" TV and stereo system. This along with 'sofa control' to control the VLC player... and I never have to leave my chair. [alert admin]
