Symantec NAV virus def Oct (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
those who rely on "Live Updates"; The definitions are sometimes outdated by as much as a week or a month. Instead, go to the Symantec website & download the latest version of their definitions. The face of viruses are changing all the time, you can't risk using old virus definitions to battle new viruses. When I updated using "Live Updated", the definitions I received were dated Sept 1, 2001, but when I downloaded from their website the definitions were dated Oct 1, 2001. Other then that, I've had no problems with NAV. [alert admin]
