SD 1 and 2 ARE THE SAME PRODUCT

Support HAS BEEN DROPPED for V.1.x of SD, meaning that the newest version is the same product.

http://www.yazsoft.com/sd1/sdhelp/start.html

That's the 'help' page - NOTICE HOW IT'S BEEN TAKEN DOWN. Gee, this makes version 2 the same product as 1, since support's been dropped, now doesn't it? That means that my registration for 1 should work in 2, right? NO.

YazSoft, you steal money from users who expect products to be supported and upgraded. I feel sorry for anyone who purchases v.2 because they will run into the exact same thing.

Whats next, v.3.0!?

Well gee, YazSoft, look at this. You promised all updates to SD would be FREE TO REGISTERED USERS. Okay, I liked SD 1 to buy it, and that just put me in more. Alright, so now SD 1 is telling me theres an UPDATE! COOL! V.2.0!! Oh, wait, whats this, there's an UPGRADE FEE FOR REGISTERED USERS!? What!? Does this make sense to anyone? If it does, then why in the heck would SD 1 tell me theres an update? Oh, thats right, because YazSoft needs to seriously rethink their pricing strategy, especially for those who already purchased it!

And now, they're coming right out and saying that registered users of v. 2.0 will get all of v. 2.0 updates for free! WHAT A DEAL! Now, whenever YazSoft feels like making some more money, they just hike up the version number to 3! WOAH!

You just lost a whole lot of customers, YazSoft.

Cocktail 1.1 (Mac OS X)

One feature I…

would love to see implemented; the ability to change the time of cron events. I've done this through the terminal, but I would like to have this as an easier alternative - I done have 5 minutes to spend on each computer on a 200-computer campus. Great as it is. [alert admin]
