I am also using Safari, and I didn't notice any problems downloading from Mediafire. What page did experience this problem from?

Security is the key - jss

Actually, the LACK of security appears to be the key to getting a successful download. I tried with almost every imaginable web browser, and I couldn't download in any. Then I opened OmniWeb and, before trying the download, I removed ALL POSSIBLE web security preferences. That satisfied MediaFire and I successfully downloaded the software. I believe OmniWeb had nothing to do with it, except that it was easy to deselect everything that improves security in web browsing. MediaFire appears to demand full access to the browser, and any interference causes it to hold its breath until it turns blue. After the download succeeded, I returned all of my security preferences to sensible secure settings.
