Well aren't you special. Obviously, you got lucky, but as you can see from posters at this and another Mac d/l site, there is obviously something wrong with this disk image that Telestream needs to rectify.Wednesday, September 16 2009 @ 09:38 PM PDT

No, nitwit, the comments are not wrong. They are accurate descriptions of what is happening on many machines, including mine. For some reason, you were able to download a mountable image. Are you running Leopard? I am running Snow Leopard 10.6.1, and the disk image will NOT mount after repeated attempts with multiple programs.

perhaps you can tell us what system you are running? As in 10.6.1, this beta won't mount..... "no mountable file systems", but then maybe we are all dreaming eh?Wednesday, September 16 2009 @ 10:17 PM PDT

I downloaded the .DMG 2 hours ago and again just now and it mounted successfully using DiskImageMounter both times on 10.6.1. The file downloaded was 19.6 MB rather than the 6.3 MB indicated on the VT page. As a test, I would recommend trying the great tool Pacifist as an alternate method to mount the image.Wednesday, September 16 2009 @ 10:32 PM PDT

I too join the ranks of those unable to mount the downloaded .dmg file... same message as others have : "The following disk image failed to mount. Reason: No mountable file systems". Running Leopard 10.5.8 on PPC platform.Knkglobal, so because you were fortunate enough to successfully install the updated software, all those who are in fact finding it impossible to mount the disk image are "WRONG"? How silly you are going to look when Flip4Mac comes out and admits there was a serious glitch in the disk file making it impossible to for many to install... no wait, you already look silly by what you've said.

Erm no, it doesn't... Now, get some help... - stam
First of all, may I offer my sincere apologies for daring to have, in common with many others, a problem which you clearly have not experienced. And as such simply cannot be true!Since you are one of the (apparently) more successful, intelligent and all-knowing Mac users, I know it must be my fault that downloading with either Safari or Firefox, and attempting to mount the resultant disk image with either DiskImageMounter or Toast Titanium fails. Seeing repeatedly the message "No mountable file systems" must clearly be a fabrication, or at the very least the result of my own stupidity.
May i please ask your forgiveness for voicing this - clearly the arrogance you display undernotes your superiority to all other users of the website, and you must have more experience that me with macs. I can only claim to have used a mac since 1985 and program professionally, so what do i know!
I think i speak for all of us when i say STFU!
PS: On a more personal note, you may find anger management courses, and possibly even pharmaceutical help with anti-depressants and anti-anxiety drugs, most helpful.
