Once again charged for a simple update - bupkis

I'm with you 100%. I'm not paying this guy more for an upgrade than I paid for the original app just to have it work (in 32-bit mode, mind you) in Snow Leopard.

Hao Li, stop being a greed head or watch your customers go over to Glims.

Once again charged for a simple update - dgkanter

1. While not a software developer, from what other developers have said, adjusting to Snow Leopard (from Leopard) isn't necessarily a "simple update" where it entails input-related software.

2. While the README file accompanying this beta release has not been fully updated to address the pricing--much seems still to be what accompanied a Leopard release--nor has the Price on the VersionTracker page been updated from what's still showing as $12, nor is there currently a link to an upgrade purchase of the Snow Leopard version--only one for a plain purchase at $15; I'm not prepared to believe that--as cited by walfrieda--the upgrade price will also be $15. (The past practice had been to provide an upgrade at half price [i.e., $6 versus what had been the $12 charge for a plain purchase].) Instead, I'm prepared to await Saft for Snow Leopard to come out of beta and for the developer to clarify whether there will be a reduced upgrade pricing before judging whether I'll stay on board with Saft.
