Parallels Desktop Build 4.0.3846 actually seems to work poorly with Snow Leopard. It is running MUCH slower on my iMac 3.06 GH Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB SDRAM, with Snow Leopard than it did with Leopard. Having to wait several minutes for Parallels' virtual disk to mount makes it impractical to use.
I sent email to the software developer asking about this, but have received no response after several days.
Is anyone else experiencing this apparent slow-down with SL? Is Fusion or any other virtual disc software any faster?
