64-bit isn't required for an app to be Snow Leopard-compatible. At this point, for most applications, you won't see much difference in performance except for the increase memory footprint. With that said, the next major release of Pacifist *is* planned to be 64-bit, and I've already got internal builds running in 64-bit, but that's more for future compatibility than for any present benefit, and besides this, it is a massive change to the source code that will require an extensive testing and debugging period in order to produce a stable result. I'm sure you would not want me to offer you an application that was horribly buggy.This is all for a 3.0 release sometime in the future, though - the 2.6.x branch needs to remain 32-bit, since it needs to be compatible with OS X 10.3.x.
