Promising -- pity about company culture - robio

I'm not that keen on the GetSatisfaction forum interface used by Postbox either, but I think you must be using it wrong. The forums for contacting the developers and discussing Postbox are wide open for anyone to see, read and post on any and every question or problem.. The Postbox forums are extremely active, and the developers respond daily in almost every thread, interacting with users to troubleshoot and receive feedback (which is often integrated into the next build).

In my experience, the "corporate culture" is actually MORE personal and certainly more accessible than most.

I'm one of the founders of Postbox. We're very sorry that you've had this experience with our support forums on GetSatisfaction. We've been a bit overwhelmed by the positive response to Postbox, and we do our very best to get back to as many support requests as possible while trying to move development forward as well.

While GetSatisfaction does a reasonably good job, we're actively seeking a more powerful alternative. More news on that later.

Regarding SpamSieve support, we're asking people to request support directly from the developer of this product (we have) so that they have a better understanding of market demand.

Thanks!

You're kidding me! I've found this company to be responsive, dedicated to improving their product and provide great service to their customers. Yeah, I don't find Get Satisfaction to be the best forum either. But the application is outstanding for v.1. And the company is WAY more responsive than Apple when you have problems. I moved to Postbox from Mail and haven't looked back. [Well, actually, sometimes I do look back, I fire up Mail to see how it feels. That lasts about 5 minutes, and I'm back to Postbox.]
