I get the same result on my MacBook running OS X 10.4.9. I was hoping to try the previous version, but it is no longer posted for downloading.

Me too. Just downloaded the program, double-clicked on app and got the didn't load properly message. Tried manually loading it into the library/screen savers folder and got the same error message. It's now in the trash.
