I think Version 2.0 is worth it - summerstormpictures

But then why, being so meticulous and responsive and so on is the ''freeware'' designation conveniently still indicated on the VersionTracker listing? This is not a good indication. Why would they also bring into their portfolio SlidePad, which is a blatant ''repurposing'' of sideNote--and then charge for it?

I used MainMenu 1.0 for eons as well and will obviously continue to do so since it works just fine--and I mean fine. What other utilities does one need?

If you're in need of ''pro'' level ''hard-core'' system cleaning and maintenance, just install AppleJack. That will give you a much more thorough ability to take care of odd problems that crop up--before booting into the Apple OS.

...oh, and it's free.
