Too Many New Releases! - Jelliesandbeans

YOU SHOULD BE GLAD A PROGRAMMER IS MAKING REGULAR UPDATES AND MAKING IT BETTER AND BETTER !

It's a damn shame someone is moaning about updates. A real shame!
If you don't like the app because it is updated on regular times then just delete it and use a program that never gets a update.

FYI all updates are with great new features and occasionally a bug fix. This implies the program is very usable in every version without bugs.

To the developer:
Keep up the good work. It is because of your continues updates I have registered. This is by far the best converter for OS X

God help that you should miss a release.

The iVideoConverter police will probably arrest you and imprison you for life!

Too Many New Releases! - Gennx30

how dumb are some of you? a release every 5 hours means (/sarc)
1. it should not be released yet- its not ready
2. like SPEED DOWNLOAD they keep bumping to the top once a week with a trivial "whats new in this version: dotted the "i" in 'documentation'"
"Just had the idea to change skin color" " "moms birthday update"
There is such a thing as "superfluous releases" vs "true improvement releases"
Do it at one time every so often not nickle and dime, unless an urgent problem keeps arising-which means its not ready for release-and 7 times every 2 days avg suggests that:

Too Many New Releases! - NOT - MacUser-4-ever

I understand where you're coming from, but I think you're wrong here. There's some unwritten history with this app. When VisualHub terminated, there became huge void in this type of app. It seems like they're rushing development and doing an amazing job of it, so the developers are faced with a choice...holding off on offering new features and fixes or make them available as they develop. You always have the ability to not upgrade, but why should others who have written in and asked for features not get them because you don't like having the *option* to have an upgrade be available?

I haven't seen the upgrade notifications in the app itself, but maybe they aren't showing enough info about what's critical and what's not so that you can decide on whether or not to upgrade...of course the upgrading is so incredibly simple and fast with this app, I'm not sure why this is an issue for you.

Instead of giving up, did you write to the developer? More importantly, to you suggest a way that the developer could resolve this issue for you? I've written to them, and they were incredibly responsive.
