Safari 4 overtaking - furrutia1

Same here. After using Firefox for some time now, I'm so impressed with this version of Safari, that I'm making the swtich.

Safari 4 overtaking - bulletproofsoul

I concur that Safari 4 is blazingly fast and much better organized and better thought out overall. With additional items like Safari AdBlock, Glims and so on, it really seems the best browser. Personally, I have never had problems with banking or any on-line transactions for a long time indeed. I really find Firefox to be antiquated in the way it is put together and extremely unMac-like. I'd rather use Omniweb than Firefox even.

Safari 4 overtaking - kissstephanie72

Firefox is not being overtaken by Safari, and within the next week or two, Firefox 3.5 will be released, and it will be almost as speedy as Safari, but with user features that leaves Safari 4 well behind. I can't even set the size of the cache that I want in Safari 4 for goodness sake, while I can in Firefox, and for extra privacy, I can manually overwrite them. Firefox leaves files in two folders that are easy to find, while Safari 4 leaves files in multiple places, including an invisible folder that most users don't know about. I love Apple software and I use a number of Apple apps daily, but Safari is the exception.
