same for me, installed is 1.0.2 now. I installed by download and by the open xml converter itself, both times still have 1.0.2.

1.0.3 again installs 1.0.2 - Robert Welch

Perhaps Microsoft’s strategy for fixing version 1.0.2 is to relabel it as version 1.0.3, as it did by fixing Vista by relabeling it as Mohave. I tried to report the issue to Microsoft, but got lost in its web site’s maze for sending email.

It's 1.0.2 from 20th November last year. Some dingbat at MS screwed up somewhere. Still, at least they do updates for ancient software.

I also have found that the installer goes thru all the motions of updating v1.0.2, but in the end it remains v1.0.2. Additionally, I attempted to contact Microsoft via their "Help and Support" page, entered "Microsoft Open XML Converter" in the "Quick Product Finder" and it responds with "No Matching Results!"

I also noticed that after "1.0.3" is installed, Microsoft AutoUpdate keeps trying over and over to apply the "critical" 1.0.3 update.

Issue corrected: 1.0.3 now installs 1.0.3 - Ronald P. Regensburg

The issue apparently has been corrected by MS. The available 1.0.3 installer now installs correctly version 1.0.3.
