At least they're still working on it. - GianMarco Tavazzani

Augh!
Perfect resume of six years of pains!
I use Skype as much as I can and it's really a pity that iChat stood 'cut of' from the real world of free communication!
Naturally my best choice to 'stay in contact with the windoz users of all other chats is Adium that still has a lot of limits file transfers inclusive.

Also look at Microsoft messenger before hating (!) Yahoo - Ilgaz

I won't flood here with my message, if you check my message on this site about Microsoft Messenger which is a far more popular download than Yahoo one, you can see that we should be supporting Yahoo in case of this client.

At least they converted that joke like carbon application to something cocoa and added features. About the "full" windows specs? Do we really want them? I mean themes, flash animations etc?

It better support the actual core features equally, leave the windows market to windows users.

Actually, this is the fourth year of the beta. The first three years, they provided 2 public releases each plus a compatibility release for Leopard.

This year, I think they're serious as this must be the 4th public release already. Perhaps, Yahoo! and Microsoft figured how to get the video and audio working together across clients finally.
