Snapz Pro with movies has served me well over many, many years. With the latest iteration, I was concerned because despite the installation of v2.1.4, I received a recurring message that an update, v2.1.4 was available. Thus, I suspected a bug and contacted Ambrosia. Within a very short time window I was contacted by the Sultan of Service, himself, expressing a number of suggestions. I applied these procedures, but to no avail, but Ambrosia was with me for the duration, eventually requesting a System Profile export. I resolved the issue by launching Snapz and unchecking the update option. Yes, this may only be a temporary fix, but it works. Most importantly, Ambrosia was with me all the way through numerous emails. So, you may complain about the product (I don't), but consider the quality of the service. From my experience, it is virtually impossible to match. These people care and that's critical in a fluctuating economy. So, cut them some slack!Friday, April 10 2009 @ 09:01 AM PDT

Too much emotional venting in this review resulting in minimal attention to facts. No digg.Sunday, April 26 2009 @ 01:37 AM PDT

Folks, go read the current review here at VT for Jing. It sums it all up.Jing is skirting the edge of being scamware. It has nothing remotely like the capabilities of Snapz Pro X and subjects you to marketing coercion in order to get you to pay up for their 'pro' version. I don't do marketing coercion. Get lost.

So, you're saying that you actually USE Jing and ScreenFlow? Because when I try to use them they suck. For whatever reason you're spoutin' this crap... SnapzPro at least does what it says it will.Wednesday, April 29 2009 @ 12:39 PM PDT
Ahem... a bit too e-Vocal eh? - manicman
@zunipus: WELL SAID!@mixietop: counter-experience is always weakening to an argument.
Thanks you two, for balancing out this 'hate speech' (that's supposed to a humorous use of the phrase people).
