Not correct. I've been using WebMin on my OS X "client" / "standard" / "not 'server'" versions for years.
If you are getting a 'hang' trying to access the interface somethign went wrong, and you should try the install again (if you try to install and it is already installed but some files are missing I think it will repair things)
