Actually the website DOES indicate that it supports iPhoto '09:

On this page (http://www.brattoo.com/propaganda/index.php) it says:
• Requirements: Mac OSX v10.3.9, 10.4.x, 10.5.x or 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
• iPhoto 5, 6, 7(iLife '08) or 8 (iLife '09)
