Re: Total garbage - KeesW
if you don't like Azureus/Vuze, you don't know what you're doing. Simple as that. When correctly configured/optimized for your specific internet connection, there's nothing that can match it for number of peers and download speed.

Total garbage? NOT! - PiotrGM
Perhaps you may want to check your system configuration. On my machine, a 2007 Mac mini, 3 GB of RAM (yes, 3 not 2), no third party system enhancers, VUZE works seamlessly. It does everything it claims it can. It is well designed and fast. It is also much more effective than FrostWire and LimeWire 5 put together, the latter badly flawed and deserving of heavy criticism much more than VUZE.Sadly, you are a bit off the mark here. Again, check your system configuration, repair permissions, run diagnostics (DiskWarrior, TechTool Pro). I am pretty sure it is not Vuze that causes you problems.

We got the idea you don't like Vuze after you gave it your first slagging. Now we get the idea that you are obsessed and belligerent, which IMHO deletes your reliability as a reviewer. Get lost please.REALITY: The Vuze revision of Azureus adds a lot of garbage I find totally useless and annoying. I just kick it off the screen and use 'Advanced' mode to get back to the Azureus stuff. The version 4 series has had quirks and bugs. But Vuze remains the single most powerful BitTorrent client on the planet. If that's useful to you, then use it. If not, stick to the simple BitTorrent clients. For me, having learned Azureus inside out, I'm not interested in going backwards. Plus, the protection Vuze offers from anti-privacy spies, natively and via plugins, is essential IYAM.
