speed up, slow down - DavidRavenMoon

"However, there is so much more mouse movement to create tabs and reload web pages that navigating Safari is actually slower. Speed up, slow down."

Stop using your mouse! That's the problem.

Command-T makes a new Tab. Command-R reloads a page. You can also click on he circle arrow at the right of the address bar to reload a page. Command-Shift and the right or left arrow keys switches tabs. Command-L highlights the address field. You don't need the mouse at all!

Having the tabs above the address bar increases the distance you have to travel by about 1/4" Not a big deal unless you have the speed on your mouse all the way slow. I still mostly click on a tab to switch to it. There is also a new tab button up there, but I have never used that feature, preferring to use the keyboard shortcut.

I find the beta MUCH faster in operation and use.

Good points!
I agree with everything you said.
I hope Apples listens to these comments!

Apple should have considered this before they released the beta.
I wished that they would use the product before releasing to the public.
