I'm not an expert, but it seems to me that if the application could store each note in a separate file in Application Support or elsewhere in the library it would have been much quicker.
Other important features which are lacking are: copy/paste style, spell check, use of the the system font panel and colour palettes, make link, lists (numbered or bulleted).
Finally, I would like to thank the developer for this product which I've been using for more than a year.
