Best Notes ever - Mac-Fan No 1
Thanks for this response. I have a MacPro with 2 x 2,66 GHz Dual-Core and 4 GB RAM under 10.5.6. I think, my machine isn't that bad and the standard version still is very slow. Don't get me wrong. I'd like to have the nice new features and so, but compared to the basic client the speed penalty is too high. And if you worked the whole day intensivly with notes (not only eMail but a bunch of applications, too) you would agree:-)Monday, February 02 2009 @ 05:24 AM PST

Blanket advice to download only the basic version is wrongheaded. It all depends on your own Mac model and how much horsepower and system resources you have available. It's possible to run the standard version of Notes 8.5 with perfectly acceptable performance if you have certain models of Macs.Reply to This
