DriveGauge HIGHLY RECOMMENDED (disregard above message by me) - ErikMacFreak
I would like to retract the above review. After a combination of experimenting with this application, consulting with the people who created this fine piece of software and a careful review of my own procedure I completely realize to my own embarrassment that my difficulties with this application were actually entirely my own doing!
I feel really stupid as I discovered the fact that I had renamed my Hard Drives to .icns thus making my Hard Drives appear as files to my computer, to definitely be the cause of my problem.
I am now having no problems whatsoever, running DriveGauge even on an old Mac G3 PowerBook running Tiger (10.4.11) via XPostFacto completely without mishaps. I am running DriveGauge as I type this. After getting past my own stupidity, I must admit that DriveGauge is a really fantastic application with a really unusual and excellent fast running interface, even on such an old computer.
I must apologize to DriveGauge's creators for any damage I may have caused. Excellent Application! Highly recommended after all!
