As a follow-up to my previous post, I should note that I also posted in the HandBrake forums about the problems I had encountered with my attempt to follow their directions, etc., I received a reply disallowing my post like this:
You are receiving this notification because your topic "Request - Fix
Search" at "HandBrake" was disapproved by a moderator or administrator.
The following reason was given for the disapproval:
The reported post does not fit into any other category, please use the
further information field.
Here is a thread explaining exactly why this is not possible. We do not
need yet another thread about this:

Which I guess is a fancy way of saying that just because the search doesn't work doesn't mean we don't expect you to be able to find the topic that says the search doesn't work. Kafka, indeed.
