"If you add two or more tags they must be separated by an underscore: tag1_tag2_tag3."

You only need the _ if you want a tag with 2 strings, like "holiday photo". Just use a space to separate tags.

There is a web page about tagit on our site. The help item links to it, and it basically contains all there is to know.

To add tags, just type them. You generally want short single word tags. But for a two word tag, such as 'New York' - you do need to use an underscore to create it.
