DVDxDV upgrades are terrible - Mark Lewis--2008

I have to agree that support for DVDxDV is terrible. I have a "permanent license key" for the product that is worthless. There is no way that I can find download anything other than a trial edition that won't accept a license key. The support tab on their website leads only to a few canned help files that do not address licensing issues.

I will continue to use the last version I have working until it fails, but I will be reluctant to purchase another product from the vendor.

DVDxDV upgrades are terrible - rowanwood

I have DVDxDV version 1.38. I would like to update it to the current version. As you mentioned, there is no way visible at the web site to do this. The developer seems to want you to pay the full US$25.00 price for every tiny bug fix.

What is wrong with providing a simple update page on the site?

I have no choice but to avoid any and all updates, and will definitely NEVER purchase any more products from this developer.
